Dal 9 al 13 Novembre 2010 è stato effettuato il viaggio di istituto ad Auschwitz - Birkenau, cui hanno partecipato 68 studenti, 4 docenti e, grazie alla collaborazione con l'Associazione "Esodo", 24 adulti. Tutta la giornata di giovedì 11 é stata dedicata alla visita del campo, che si può ripercorrere nelle foto della Galleria immagini / Auschwitz 2010 inserita nel sito del Liceo Majorana Corner .

Aldilà di una certa miopia nella visione strategica di sviluppo per il territorio, la corsa alle installazioni di campi fotovoltaici nasconde comportamenti predatori, che comportano enormi danni all'intera società civile in ambito economico, ambientale e sociale.
Da un punto di vista economico il fotovoltaico, lungi dall'essere una risposta concreta ed efficace ai problemi energetici, rappresenta una true source of speculation for some wealthy investors to the detriment of citizens.
